Does your house or apartment need a good clean up? Perhaps, like plenty of other people, you having been putting it off but always with the intention of getting around to tidying it up eventually. The only problem is that the more you delay, the worse it tends to get, until eventually you do not even know where to begin. What you need to do is relax and draw up a house cleaning checklist.

It is a whole lot easier to tackle a large problem when it is broken down and that is exactly how your house cleaning list will help you to deal with your untidy house, apartment, etc. It helps you to not feel overwhelmed by the task at hand.

Although pre-existing lists can be obtained they are not always the best, because no two homes are identical. Instead, compile your own house cleaning list into different rooms and areas that exist in your home.

Once your house cleaning checklist is completed and you have it divided into the different areas and rooms in your home, it is now time to decide what needs to be done in each area or room. But do not just think about the space, actually go to it as you jot down what needs to be done. Remember, your house cleaning checklist is not set in stone. You can add and remove information as the need arises.

It is necessary that you realize that some of the tasks you have on your house cleaning checklist are going to be more important and pressing than others. For example, making sure that the dishes are all washed after meals will be considered more important than building that new book shelf. It comes down to prioritizing.

Once your house cleaning list is all done it is a good idea to have it displayed where everyone living in the house or apartment can easily see it. You need to make sure that everyone concerned knows what his or her tasks will be. In this way your house cleaning checklist goes a long way in restoring order in the home.

Now that every knows which tasks they are responsible for it is time for you to determine how much time will be spent on cleaning. It is irrespective whether the job is one large one or a group of smaller ones, work withing the time frame that you have decided upon.

Although there is no hard and fast rule on how to go about restoring order to your house or apartment, your completed house cleaning list and house cleaning schedule will help to keep the objective in perspective.

Putting together a house cleaning checklist and make sure that you get the results that you are after.

When it comes to how to remove carpet stains, we all know that ugly blotch on the living room carpet is not actually your fault. In fact, odds are it?s no one?s fault, at least in so far as no one ever seems willing to own up to having stained the rug, but when it comes to getting that mess out again, the key really is quick action. Pulling the sofa over it and hoping it will go away is the worst thing you can possibly do. Time is the most critical part of making your damaged carpet look like new, and the faster you act the more likely you are to reverse most of the damage and remove carpet stains.

Unlike the do it yourself scotch-guard kits of the past, many modern carpets come already treated with stain resisting chemicals, making for easier stain removal, but only if you get right to it. The longer a stain sits around, the more chance it has to set into the fibers of your rug and the harder it is to clean. No matter what the salesman said, there is no such thing as a stain proof carpet. Fortunately, there are ways to remove carpet stains in case you just did not get to it in time or happen to move a piece of furniture and find a surprise that no one in your family has ever seen before.

To start out with, you always want to make sure that you blot up any liquid spilled on your carpet rather than rubbing it in. Using pressure and rubbing in a stain will only force it in deeper and because carpets are made of fibers, each thread in your rug will just wick that stain all the way down to the bottom. If that happens, then even if you manage to clean off the top of the carpet, with repeated wear and pressure of people walking on it, the stain will just wick back up again as if it had never left.

The best way to remove carpet stains that are still liquid is to blot gently with an absorbent towel, rinse the area with some water, and blot again. Repeat this process until you have gotten rid of as much of the stain as you can. Just make sure that you do not scrub or press as this can damage your carpet and set the stain more permanently.

While everyone in a similar position hopes that water alone will be sufficient, the truth is, it’s not always all that’s needed. If you’ve tried with water and had no success then perhaps it’s time to start getting serious by bringing out the chemicals. If you do, then just remember that most of these solutions come with a warning and not without good reason neither. The last thing you want to do, is end up with a huge bleached patch in place of the stain, and that’s exactly what can happen. Be sure to test any solution before you use it.

If you do find yourself in a position where you need to use a specific solution, always apply it to a rag of piece of absorbent towel rather than directly onto the carpet. Likewise, rub it in gently, starting on the outside and working your way in so as not to make the stain any bigger than it is. After completion you can simply blot the area in order to take up all excess cleaner before rinsing it. Don’t forget to blot thoroughly after each rinse and be sure to rinse enough times to get all traces of the cleaner out. Above all, following the advice given in this article gives you the best chance possible for removing carpet stains.

Carpets can beautify the house, but when you forget to clean it, it will put your health to risk because of the dirt and the germs that might be piling up on the fibers of the carpet. If you do not know how to clean carpet, you are going to exert some effort to clean your carpet regularly. It does not have to be hard cleaning every time, just the right and proper strokes of vacuuming would do. For other ways to clean and remove carpet stain, here are some tips that might help you.

Vacuum is the first solution everyone would always think of when it comes to cleaning the carpet. Vacuum can remove soil or dirt on the carpet so take some of your time to do it regularly but make sure that the way you do the vacuuming process is correct to avoid your carpet from being damaged.

To properly vacuum the carpet, you should choose the vacuum that is right and proper for your carpet. You should always check the vacuum if it has dual motors, good filtration, correct brush height, beater bar or rotating brush, and a top loading bag (not the bottom loading bag) before buying one.

For some carpets that had accumulated too much dirt and stains over time, vacuum may not be enough to remove the carpet stains. The carpet would need thorough cleaning by using shampoo, carpet machines, or other carpet stain cleaners. Before pre-spraying the shampoo, clean the carpet first with vacuum.

To shampoo the carpet, you need to remove the dirt with vacuum, then pre-spray the mixed solution generously, but not over, into carpet and leave the solution for a while. After letting the shampoo loose the dirt and stains use a rotary machine and let the carpet get dry. Vacuum the carpet again after drying for better results.

If the stain is already in an extreme condition and vacuum is no longer applicable, steam cleaning is another option to remove carpet stain. The liquid-based cleaning agent plus the use of steam-cleaning machine can remove carpet stains as well.

Aside from the carpet stain cleaners and vacuum, there are also some home-made cleansers that you can use to remove carpet stains. The cleaning procedures are usually indicated at the package of your carpet and some cleaning procedures can also be researched through the internet and other manuals.

For some simple steps to remove carpet stain, always do the right way of vacuuming regularly. If the carpet is stained with coffee, drinks, or chocolates, clean it right away. Do not rub the carpet fiber, instead, use vinegar or baking soda as carpet stain cleaner. If the stain is hard to clean, ask for the assistance of professional carpet care personnel.

To keep your floor clean and fresh inside the house, you should maintain the cleanliness of the carpet by using vacuum or other cleansers. Tell your family members, visitors, and friends to clean their shoes first before stepping into the carpet, or might as well, remove the shoes. Always provide clean door mat where they can have their feet and shoes clean.
